I'm a Dtla local and I love it here the food always feels fresh clean and yummmyyy! I definitely recommend

I come here quite a bit and for good reason. I've been here when it's almost empty on a random weekday afternoon and packed on Saturday nights and the experience is the same for both which is rare. The food is always flavorful and fresh, and I've tried half the menu at this point and I've never been disappointed. The hummus is so smooth, the strawberry date salad is phenomenal, and the kabobs always have the perfect balance of flavors. The real stars are the staff, Brayan especially. They are always so kind and attentive and go out of their way to make the experience lovely. I never thought I would be a regular anywhere, especially DTLA but wow PKG is reliable, friendly, and the most consistently great food I've had here. I'm so happy I was introduced to this place it's a real gem!

I've been to other locations and I've always had great experiences! Love the chicken and koobideh kabobs and recently tried the lamb and it's great as well! We came late on a Friday night and were seated quickly and served right away. Overall we had a great time; we'll be back!

The food is fantastic, the price is unbelievably reasonable, and the excellent service creates a great ambiance. Brian is amazing. He remembers his customers, is courteous and pays attention to details. A wonderful place to dine whatever the occasion. An inexpensive full service gem in the center of downtown.

Today I came with my friends in Glendale Galleria. I Ordered the 1 skewer beef koobideh with Mediterranean avocado salad and basmati rice. The portions are enormous here, I also wasn't expecting it to come with a generous portion of tzatziki. Koobideh could have been more flavorful but it did taste fresh and healthy. I'm curious about their chicken and steak kabobs. Service was very good and quick our food came out within 10 minutes of placing the order. Tim the manager was super nice snd helpful. We are thinking to coming back.

LITERALLY THE BEST MEDITERRANEAN FOOD I HAVE EVER CONSUMED! The ingredients are minimally processed, the flavors are perfectly balanced, and the rice, oh my goodness, the rice was so well done, soft, and buttery (I don't believe butter was added, just saying that as a tasting description). Nothing was oily or overcooked, just fresh, delicious, and expertly prepared. I tried the Chicken Kabob and Kofta Kabob, and I cannot overstate how LARGE these kabobs are! The Charbroiled Chicken Shish Kabob and Beef Koobideh Kabob were both outstanding. The portions were more than substantial, and the prices were surprisingly affordable for downtown LA--yet the quality did not suffer one bit. Service was quick and professional. The ambiance was relaxing, clean, and cozy. I WILL eat here every single time I'm in LA! If you're looking for incredible Mediterranean food, this is the spot.

Thanksgiving at Panini Kabob Grill - DTLA was perfection. Having a little getaway/staycation in the city for a weekend to reset and enjoy the holiday, my boyfriend and I met up and found ourselves at Panini. Located at 9th & Hope Street, across from the huge Downtown LA Ralph's grocery store. We were greeted by a host and guided to pick our own seats on the patio and found a great table (not they do have seating inside as well). They had a good amount of hands on deck and tons of carry out and delivery orders. There were a small handful of people enjoying a mini feast out inside and out. The weather was ideal and so was the feeling of not preparing a buffet's worth of food like I have in the past lol. Our server brought us water and menus right away and gave us plenty of time to look over their extensive menu of Mediterranean must. Being California based chain I've been lucky enough to enjoy Panini at another location or two, but DTLA might be my favorite. If you don't know panini their know for amazing appetizers, desserts, entrees, pasta dishes, salads, sandwiches, soups, and wraps. As well as loads of vegetarian, vegan and dietary need options, noting quite a lot on their menu (such as prepared in shared kitchen ingredients, contains dairy, and so forth). I had the Falafel platter (forget to omit the tzatziki), but had at everything else and let me tell you it was a meal to be had! The portions are generous as are the prices. Babe had a pesto pressed grilled panini which comes with a big salad on the side. We both we happy and full that night. And our service was spot on. We didn't partake in their great selection of wine or beer (not a full bar), but did note some things for next time. Plus their kabobs which also include vegetable. Panini specializes in family style meals, catering and thus the ultimate plates/portions. The DT Los Angeles location just seems to have that something extra. Thanks for making our Thanksgiving extra thankful. Panini DT Notes: Easy access + super clean restrooms. Very family friendly. Military discounts available. Parking is pretty much local paid lots, street, bike racks by the patio, your two feet if local or metro. Open to all, especially on holidays!

It may look like a typical chain restaurant, but I'd say this is hidden gem for Mediterranean food! Good quality food with good prices and large portions! I got the Charbroiled ABF Chicken Shish Kabob with Avocado Salad and Basmati Rice. The Chicken shish kabob was great. The chicken was flavorful and seasoned well. The chicken and veggies were also nicely charred. The salad was nice and fresh and the rice was fluffy. My friends and I were seated outside, but there were heated lamps so it was warm which I liked. I would definitely come back here again if I was craving Mediterranean food and didn't want to break the bank.

The outside seating has the outside ambience of DTLA, directly next to a bus stop. Fun for people watching! Service was very quick and our food came out within 10 minutes of placing the order. The bathroom was also clean.

My boss ordered my department lunch from this restaurant. I ordered the Combo Ka-box with Basmati Rice & Spicy Hummus. The portion size was huge!! I wasn't able to finish everything and had some leftovers. Everything tasted good. I especially enjoyed the grilled vegetables. It wasn't the best Mediterranean food I've had, but it was a really solid choice near my office. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant and order from here again myself.
